West Lothian College is looking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer to join our Professional Cookery team within the Business, Creative, and Enterprise faculty. We seek a dedicated individual who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm, making a valuable contribution to the department. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and providing a diverse learning experience, with a strong emphasis on progression and employability. This role is a great opportunity to combine your culinary expertise with your passion for education. Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 7. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the college. Applicants should be qualified to a minimum of SCQF Level 8. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the Professional Cookery Sector is desirable. The 14 hours contact hours are listed below: Monday 9am-12pm Tuesday 1pm-4pm Wednesday 9am-4pm Friday 1:15pm-3:15pm The further 6.42 hours prep time can be discussed to suit. We would consider flexible working with hours being able to be divided among multiple candidates.
