Role: Complex Care Assistant

Location: Ramsgate

Hourly Rate: £12.00 to £16.83

Shifts available:

9 am to 1 pm 2:1 shifts to include alternate weekends

6 pm to 9 am 1:1 shifts to include alternate weekends

(6 pm to 9 am will be a part waking, part sleeping shift)

We ask that there is some flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave within the team.

Please note you must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship.

Previous care experience is essential.

Contract type: Zero hours contract. Contracted hours could be considered following successful completion of probation.

About the Role:

Continuity of Care Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our 40s male client living with a spinal injury who wishes to be as independent as possible with the support of carers confident in complex moving and handling. Youll need to be able to cook from scratch as our client likes a nice homecooked meal. He requires support both in his home and to access the local community, to ensure he leads an active life.

Our clients requirements:

- Personal care

- Complex Moving and handling via hoist experience essential

- Medication administration

- Meal preparation

- Full UK driving licence to drive Clients Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV)

- Basic household chores

Skills training specific to the individuals needs will be provided by Continuity Training Academy to all our care assistants.
