FLI Precast Solutions are recruiting for a Junior Structural Technician to join our busy engineering and design team. The Junior Structural Technician will report to the Design Manager and will work alongside Structural Engineers and Tekla/Revit/CAD Technicians to learn to produce a full range of structural drawings for precast concrete, general arrangement and in-situ site works. This role is a great opportunity for a junior technician to gain invaluable experience in delivering a range of exciting engineering projects. This is a full-time, permanent role and is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for construction looking to start out in the industry.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use of applications Revit, Tekla and CAD RC technologies and ensure that drawings adhere to all internal and client specific goals and standards.
• Support the overall project drawing techniques / standards and discipline specific in-situ output through all delivery stages of projects.
• Assist all team members in RC processes at all stages of the project.
• Automate the DWG drawings for the Production team to reference.
• Ability to organise workload and manage detailing.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Construction or related field.
• Prior experience with applications such as Revit, Tekla and/or CAD an advantage.
• A keen interest in modern methods of construction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Learning mindset and willingness to learn.
• Proficient computer skills required, for example, Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
