This role will involve managing opportunities within the Environmental Services division across our portfolio of customers in defense, industrial, manufacturing, petrochemical, oil & gas, food & beverage, and the water sector.


It will also include:


Opportunity Management:

Pricing and quoting job opportunities based on information from the client services team, area account managers, regional account managers, site operative teams, and technical service managers.

Managing the sales reporting process within the CRM system from initial opportunity to close (win or lose).


Quotations and Proposals:

Working on quotations, proposals, and minor tenders.

Conducting site visits with the Specialist Engineering team to gather site asset data using pre-provided audit documentation.


Technical Expertise:

Having a thorough understanding of industrial services (e.g., industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, high-pressure water jetting, handling hazardous materials, and decommissioning/demolition of redundant assets/infrastructure).

Possessing excellent analytical skills.


Collaboration:

Working with the depot network management team to expedite quotation submissions, ensuring a higher conversion ratio.

Communicate with the commercial team about timelines, progress, and challenges to manage client expectations and provide a seamless customer experience.

 

Have you got the right skills?:

  • Good technical and industry knowledge of environmental/industrial services with experience including Confined Space working, Water jetting, Handling of Hazardous Materials, Oil & Gas & Water industry knowledge.
  • Fully computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, Projects and E Mail; must be able to prepare and present reports using such applications.
  • Understanding and knowledge of health and safety at work; promote compliant and best practice in line with relative legislation. Possessing IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, with internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Demonstrate keen commercial awareness and develop new business with clients at any opportunity.
  • Possess a strong initiative and engineering mindset to develop solutions to customer problems & requirements.
