Stewart Travel Group are looking for a highly motivated, organised individual with previous marketing experience and an eye for detail to join our successful Marketing team in Ayr.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Performance Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive effective strategies and achieve key performance metrics.
The role of Performance Marketing Manager is to lead our digital marketing efforts and ensure the success of our online presence. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in PPC management, website optimisation, SEO, and digital advertising.
Oversee and manage the agency responsible for our PPC campaigns.
Ensure PPC strategies align with business goals and target audience.
Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Develop and execute digital advertising strategies beyond PPC, including display and video advertising.
Create compelling ad creatives and placements to effectively target and engage the intended audience.
Work closely with the SEO Manager and SEO agency to develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies.
Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-optimized content aligned with target keywords and user intent.
Lead efforts to optimize website user experience, navigation, and conversion paths.
Plan and execute user testing initiatives to gather insights into user behaviour, preferences, and pain points.
Translate user feedback into actionable recommendations to enhance overall user experience.
Ensure the website's functionality and usability align with business objectives and user needs.
Collaborate with development teams to validate new features, functionality, and interactive elements.
Regularly monitor and analyse competitor websites, digital marketing strategies, and industry trends.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in digital marketing.
Monitor the website for errors, broken links, and other issues impacting user experience and SEO rankings.
Coordinate with the technical team to promptly address and resolve any issues that arise. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and web metrics to track the success of digital marketing efforts.
Generate regular reports to communicate performance trends, insights, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
People Management Delivery:
Set clear goals and expectations for your direct report. This will help them to know what is expected of them and to track their progress.
Provide regular feedback to your team members through 1-1's and coaching. This will help you to identify areas where they can improve and to stay on track.
Provide training and development opportunities to your team members. This will help them to grow and develop in their careers.
Improved efficiencies to our Paid Advertising campaigns, across PPC, Display and other mediums.
Improvements to web metrics, including page speed, session duration, engagement, and user to lead conversion.
Seamless reporting across web and Marketing channels including confident attribution.
Improvements to keyword rankings and Google Core Web Vitals.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on PPC management, website optimization, and digital advertising.
Proven experience managing agency relationships and driving successful campaigns.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimisation techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Data Studio etc.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
