We are the largest independent Irish provider of Logistics, and Sales and Marketing. What We Do?

We move 1 million boxes per week, we have over 100,000 square foot of warehousing and we employ over 600 direct employees across the Primeline Group, from warehouse operatives, transport drivers, field sales representatives and many support roles based in our Head Office located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Primeline is multifaceted, and we operate across many industries including FMCG, retail, pharmacy, media, automotive, print, ambient food and technology and we provide cutting edge supply chain solutions to companies operating in Ireland. We service over 4500 retailers and have a fleet of over 200 vehicles.

What Do We Want?

The focus of the role will be to provide packing, and dispatching of products for customers.

This requires timely and accurate dispatch of orders with the correct paperwork when loading trailers.

We want a great general operative to work in both the warehouse and the warehouse yard.

You will need to be both flexible with your hours and the work you carry out. 

We need you to have the ability to work well under pressure and be able to work at a consistent pace.

We want you to be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal. 

We need you to be efficient and experienced in driving a counterbalance vehicle.

We need you to be organised with the ability to plan, you will be an analytical thinker and have a practical approach.

You need to be able to operate the relevant MHE and complete the relevant tasks as per your training and health & safety procedures.

We would like you to have experience in, or a good understanding of the FMCG business.

Previous Warehouse Operative experience is required.


What Will Your Day to Day Look Like?

When you arrive each day and you will complete safety checks on your vehicle before use.

You will then report to your line manager to receive your itinerary for the day and your load plan.

You will then complete your order picking, ensuring accuracy is maintained.

You will load and unload the vehicles as per instruction and paying particular attention to sequence of orders, and stock rotation.

You will always ensure you follow correct standard operating processes.

You will check that all orders are correctly labelled to all customers and they are in order, in the correct designated areas.

You will ensure your orders are ready to go on time, for delivery to the customer.

You will sign off, that all products are packed to customer specifications.

You will take pride in your workplace and keep the area you work in, clean.

You will effectively communicate what you have achieved in your day and advise any next steps for follow up. 

From time-to-time you may participate in stocktakes and this needs to be completed in a timely manner ensuring accuracy.


What Skills Do You Need For This Role?

You need to be able to drive a forklift truck preferable to have considerable clamp experience.
