Daffodil Care Services are hiring for Fulltime Social Care Leaders, Social Care Workers and Relief Social Care Workers for our mainstream service in Gorey Co. Wexford.

As a Social Care Worker you will work as part of a team that you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential unit and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Social Care Manager and Manager in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.

What we can offer you:

• Attractive starting salary package for our Social Care Leaders of €43,800 - €46,000
• Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers €38,953 - €41,000 per annum for SCW (depending on experience) inclusive of sleeping time and premiums
• Incremental salary scale
• Typical schedule of 2 X twenty four-hour (sleepover) shifts per week - can be a combination of sleepover and 12 hour shifts to suit the needs of the service.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in one of the following:

• Social Care
• Social work
• Psychology (Level 8)
• Child & Adult Psychotherapy
• Youth & Community
• Teaching
• Nursing
• Social Science
• Counselling
• Addiction Studies
• A full driving licence
• Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting

Social Care Leaders are required to have minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a social care setting.
