Clinical Nurse Manager 1/ Person in Charge - Residential Services

Role Summary

Applications are invited for the post of CNM1/PIC supporting individuals with an intellectual disability in our Residential Service. This is a person-centred, dynamic and challenging 24/7 service. Specialised care for adults with an intellectual disability, training in the areas of PEG, Tracheostomy care and a wide range of medical conditions.

 

Minimum Requirements

CNM1 should have the following:

       Be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably RNID trained.

       Management/Leadership Training - Certified

  • A proven track record in the delivery of Person-Centred systems services and supports.
  • A minimum of 2 years working with people who have an intellectual disability.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, and all other relevant legislation as well as relevant social care models.
  • Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and change management.
  • The ability to motivate and develop a staff team and ensure staff implement organisational policies and procedures.
  • A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of a 24/7 service
  • A Full Manual Driver's License
