Are you a master of circuits, a wizard with wires, or a champion of chips? At Detectronic, we're engineering the future of smart solutions, and we need an Electronic Design Engineer to amp up our product range. If you have a resistor to the ordinary and thrive in current challenges, we want you to help us create the next generation of cutting-edge tech!

About the Role:

As our new Electronic Design Engineer, you'll be at the core of designing, debugging, and developing a wide range of exciting products. Whether you're wiring up new concepts or soldering away on our latest prototypes, you'll work on the full life cycle of our new range while keeping our existing products in tip-top shape.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • In-house testing and tweaking - perfecting products until they're fully charged for success.

To Spark Our Interest, You'll Need:

  • Experience with electronic assembly (you solder know your way around a circuit board).
  • Ideally HND qualified
  • Hands-on with soldering equipment (you know how to keep things together).
  • Familiarity with modern-day assembly techniques (current skills are key).
  • A keen eye for quality control, because you believe in delivering products that shine.
  • Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design - because both sides of the current are important.
  • Microcontroller development experience with PIC and STM32 (or similar)-you're in control.
  • Mastery of PCB design software (Easy PC, Eagle, Altium)-connecting the dots in your designs.

The Ideal Engineer Will:

  • Thrive in hardware design and want to make an electrifying impact on our products.
  • Collaborate closely with the team - after all, great ideas are a joint effort!
  • Have the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a shockingly simple way.
  • Be a detail-oriented innovator with a knack for delivering high-quality results.

Training:

Full product and service familiarity training will be given.
