We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Field Sales team who has a passion for sales and who is eager to join O'Brien Fine Foods, a well- established FMCG company This role is ideal for an individual looking to kick start their career in Sales! This role will cover Northern Ireland which includes Donegal,Tyrone, Londonderry, Fermanagh and Leitrim.

 

Responsibility Summary

As a Business Development Representative within our Sales Team, you will be responsible for developing the sales and of our premium products by partnering with customers to profitably grow their business. By doing so you will assist in achieving the company's sales targets and objectives.

 

The Role

  • Responsible for developing new accounts, managing existing accounts and identifying opportunities for future development.
  • Relationship building with key personnel, i.e. Store Owners/Managers, Deli Manager and Fresh Food Managers.
  • Provide first class customer service.
  • To achieve specific distribution and sales targets for product range
  • To implement and control in store promotions.
  • Ensure all key store personnel/retail groups are contacted in a timely and professional manner and kept up to date with store promotional progress/implementation
  • To capture all relevant sales activity and data accurately
  • To keep up to date with all market information both consumer and competitor related and report daily/weekly on same to Manager.
  • Analyse and action weekly and monthly sales reports
  • To adhere to best practice relevant HACCP rules and procedures in line with company and customer requirements
  • Always represent the company and its brands in a professional manner.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by the company.
  • This role will cover the Northeast of Ireland

 

Requirements

  • A strong field sales/retail background with experience in FMCG
  • Ability to grow new business and develop existing accounts.
  • Ambitious, pro-active and energetic in developing new business.
  • A professional manner, articulate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Strong computer experience
  • A full clean driving license is essential.
