About Us:

At Family Care, we are dedicated to supporting vulnerable families and promoting the welfare of children. We are currently looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration for our Family Care groups. Key Responsibilities:


IT Support:

  • Monitor our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues, and escalate or close overdue tickets as necessary.
  • Respond to technical queries, such as password resets, and provide remote support via TeamViewer when needed.
  • Liaise with external IT support for hardware repairs and maintenance.
  • Visit our Homes and Schools to address on-site IT setup or technical issues.
  • Maintain the IT inventory and assist in purchasing new machines as directed.
  • Configure and connect new machines to Azure.
  • Manage user access on SharePoint (Central and Education) by adding or removing users.

Business Support:

  • Oversee the vehicle fleet management, including tax, MOT, repairs, and insurance renewals.
  • Process and track fuel receipts.
  • Handle electronic archiving and ensure proper record keeping.
  • Take ownership of phone-related issues (telephones and mobiles), liaising with service providers as necessary.
  • Assist with other business support tasks as requested.


General Duties:

  • Provide cover for incoming call handling, supporting the broader Business Support and HR teams when needed.
  • Attend meetings, team events, and supervisions as required.
  • Maintain a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times.

  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently within established procedures.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Experience in IT support or administration, with proficiency in systems like TeamViewer, Azure, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • A team player who is willing to support colleagues across different departments.
