Position: Assistant Night Manager

Osprey Hotel has a superb opportunity, based in Naas, Co. Kildare for an Assistant Night Manager to join the management team who are ready to welcome you on board!

The Hotel comprises of the four-star contemporary styled 108 bedroom Osprey Hotel, Spa, Conference Centre, Business Campus, Osprey Leisure and the Herald & Devoy Restaurant. We are delighted to announce our €1 million new conference suite which was designed by celebrity architect and star of RTE's 'Home of the Year', Hugh Wallace. The ballroom has been completely revamped into an elegant and contemporary multi-functional space. This stunning room can accommodate 400 guests for a theatre style conference or up to 320 at round table for weddings and everything else in between with it's versatile design and functionality.

The Assistant Night Manager's role is a key position within the management team and involves assisting the Night Manager in dealing with guest enquiries, ensuring guest comfort, safety and security at all times.

Duties Include

• Assist the Night Manager with the nightly operation within the hotel
• Cover the night managers days off
• Dealing with late check-ins and early check-outs
• Ensuring the building is secure
• Ensuring that guest privacy and security is adhered to at all times
• Control switchboard
• Maintain fire register
• Meeting room set up
• Covering the night porter duties on some nights
• Post of relevant F&B bills
• Bar
• Cash handling
• Instilling customer service ethic in all staff

The Ideal Candidate

You must be hardworking, goal oriented, ambitious individual to join our management team. Reporting to the Night Manager this position requires a high caliber individual who seeks a career path in the hospitality trade.

The successful candidate will have an energetic hands-on approach to work in the hotel with a good atmosphere in a very busy environment. We are looking for a strong team motivator with a track record in training and high standards. The successful candidate will be outgoing with excellent guest contact. You will have strong people management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
