Rockwell are currently recruiting an experienced Pipefitters to join an exciting mechanical engineering project in the Longford region, on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will be involved in the assembly, laying, installing, and maintaining of pipes.
• Work with screwed carbon steel pipework.
• Work both inside and outside.
• Use of tools, including power tools, and equipment.
• You will use gas cutting equipment (burning gear).
• Maintaining and checking of own small tools and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

• Possess a craft qualification certificate
• Experience in a similar role within a mechanical contracting environment
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-functional team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
• Own transport is also a necessity for this position.
