What will you be doing?
As a Functional Safety engineer, you will join Milton Keynes team to support our activities within the automotive sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- In-depth knowledge of ISO26262 and other relevant automotive safety standards.
- Establish hardware, software, production, and validation requirement.
- Lead or assist in technical reviews focused on resolving issues with battery systems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, electrical, and electronics engineering teams.
- Oversee the testing and validation of systems to ensure functional safety and reliability.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the automotive sector, with a focus on functional safety.
- Strong understanding of BMS/battery functional standards, team management, and regulatory requirements.
- Have a strong understanding of BMS/battery.
- Strong understanding of high and low voltage system.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
