This role can be based at the following site; Culham, Oxfordshire.

This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

  • Assuming ownership and accountability for commercial contract management in People and Culture for HR Services, including a possible migration to a Contingent Labour Solutions Framework.
  • Leading the delivery of significant contracts, working with Procurement Business Partners for commercial support.
  • Working  collaboratively with Talent Acquisition, Procurement and other UKAEA functions to identifying niche skills for Fusion.
  • Writing detailed Scope of Works for tender packs and set up a monitoring frameworks with objectives, Key Performance Indicator, and Service Level Agreements for contract performance.
  • Negotiating variations to contractual obligations, ensuring outcomes align with affordability constraints, mitigating contract risk, and delivering value for money.
  • Managing the existing Agency Supplier Worker contract during its tapering period, lead the transformation project for the new Contingent Labour Solution Framework, and monitor the performance of the retendered Occupational Health provision contract.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Oversee and manage People and Culture commercial contracts, ensuring optimal value for the business.
  • Strategic Resourcing Partner: Collaborate with UKAEA and Talent Acquisition to address future resourcing needs and identify 'hard to fill' roles.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide support to People and Culture specialists on Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators, commercial matters, contract interpretation, and change control.
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead projects to replace existing services, ensuring stakeholder communication and organizational up-skilling.
  • Supplier and Performance Management: Oversee payment assessments, supplier performance monitoring, audits, and feedback. Conduct project and risk reviews.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure smooth contract transitions, engage stakeholders through workshops and presentations, and address concerns and conflicts appropriately.
