Assistant Events Manager 

£33000 - £35000

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide venue-specific catering and logistical support for all events held within Allen & Overy Shearman, One Bishop Square. The Assistant Events Manager will be reporting to the Events Manager.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • First & ongoing point of contact in the planning of all onsite event logistics, incorporating Catering, Housekeeping, AV & IT, Front of House and Security.
  • As the Assistant Events Manager, you will be an integral part of the team, developing strong working relationships and communication channels with key Allen & Overy Shearman departments. This includes the Facilities Team Leaders and managers, Events and marketing, PR and communications, Business Development, and Business Services Department Heads. 
  • Determine and develop event objectives, requirements, and expectations with event bookers. Ensure all bookings are executed to the client’s expectations while maintaining the world-class service levels expected throughout the venue.
  • Assist in producing function sheets outlining facility team event requirements, including updating and communicating necessary amendments.
  • Undertake all relevant administration tasks as directed by the appropriate departmental manager.
  • Deputise for the Events Manager in their absence.
  • To carry out any other reasonable request made by Senior Managers.
