Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for a Project Director to join our Data Centre team.

This role is client facing, working within a professional and ambitious team, where you will receive excellent support. We have brought our brightest minds together to respond to our client’s Project and Programme management objectives working on a hyperscale project of £1 billion plus.

Responsibilities

As a Project Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing large-scale and complex data centre projects in the real estate sector, from feasibility, design, construction and completion
  • Developing and implementing project strategies, plans and large scale budgets on complex construction projects
  • Establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicators
  • Managing and mitigating risks and issues
  • Preparing and delivering written project communication materials
  • Preparing and presenting formal project progress and other reports
  • Managing and coordinating the client, contractors and designers
  • Attending and chairing meetings and drafting minutes, etc
  • Other responsibilities, to include:
    • Developing and delivering presentation materials for client pitches, etc
    • Managing and updating key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database
    • Providing thought leadership and insights on the latest trends and innovations in the  Data Centre real estate sector
