We are looking for a Procurement lead for the Indirect category acting as the Sourcing Lead for all indirect sub-spend areas across the whole Valeo Snack Foods Division (VSF) across 8 production sites around the UK with the potential to take on additional sites as the company expands further. 

• You will deliver category objectives, cost reduction programmes and a competitive advantage in-line with business strategy & objectives working closely with relevant stakeholders in the UK and at Group Level. 
• Manage the total UK Energy portfolio across Gas and Electricity. This is a critical spend area with the potential to become an aggregated European wide portfolio.
• Develop and deliver best-in-class Sourcing Strategies building on an in depth understanding of our sub-categories, markets, suppliers, cost drivers and cost structure, and supplier innovation opportunities These will need to be aligned with VSF commercial strategies as necessary.
• Recommend course of action to deliver all objectives, including optimal sourcing approach. 
• Proactively map and manage category-related risks as relevant. 
• The ability to engage stakeholders to build a collaborative working relationship and to get involved in areas not previously managed by procurement (e.g. Marketing procurement) will be essential to the success of this role.  
• Work with supply chain stakeholders to ensure business continuity, and with marketing and technical stakeholders to deliver cost reduction objectives and innovation needs. 
• Develop strong supplier relationships to ensure that VSF become a preferred customer. 
• Ensure all governance aspects, including legal agreements, are in force.  

The role includes the management and development of a small team consisting of 1 Indirect Senior Buyer.
