What will you be doing?
As a Passenger Information Systems Engineer, you will join our team in Derby to support our activities within the Rail sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Test and validate Passenger Information Systems (PIS) to ensure they meet functional, safety, and performance requirements.
- Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to simulate real-world rail environments and scenarios.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures, focusing on hardware and software integration.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolutions
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in Passenger Information Systems (PIS) testing within the rail sector.
- Proven Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing experience in a relevant industry (e.g., rail, automotive, aerospace).
- Knowledge of railway signalling systems and communication protocols.
