We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our growing and friendly team. You will be responsible for the financial management of key client accounts across the Yorkshire Northeast region. Establishing and operating a financial management process that ensures that both internal (T&T) and external client needs are met and that the account is profitable. You will be the single point of contact for all Finance related queries on the accounts.
- Set up and maintenance of new opportunities/ live jobs on the Financial Management System (charge rates, target fees and cost, closing finished jobs)
- Management of Intercompany agreements and Intercompany invoices
- Support the Project Director with the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting reviews
- Identifying and providing rationale for variances against budget and forecast figures
- Review and analysis of the Management Accounts – identifying and reporting trends
- Responsible for raising monthly invoices and billing report
- Supporting the Credit Control team as required
- Time sheet analysis and reporting
- Responsible for providing the monthly finance reports to external client
- Responding to requests for information on profitability/deep dive review of job
- Check and approve contractors’ invoices on purchase ledger
- Responsible for the contractors’ accrual
- Support financial analysis within the Cost Assurance function
- Assist in the growth of the Cost Assurance service offering
