Reporting to Head of Transport, the Transport Planner you will effectively assemble loads and deliveries and resource the correct transport requirements.
Salary: £33,759 per annum
Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 8:30-17:00
Key Duties of Transport Planner:
- Efficiently utilising the Culina networks fleet.
- Planning loads centrally for all Culina Chill sites, including Group intervention.
- Assembling 400 + multi drop / consolidated loads in every 24 hour period.
- Planning approximately 200 + collections to clients agreed KPI.
- Resourcing correct transport requirements for each site, keeping sub-contract to a minimum.
- Exceeding agreed KPIs.
- Liaising daily with personnel across different levels (Shift Managers, Transport Coordinators, Customer Service & Client Support Colleagues).
- Proactively looking for conscientious improvements.
- Dealing with day to day operational issues.
- Dealing with client requests.
- Other duties as reasonably required.
