Job Description

As the Affiliate Manager - Global, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy and framework for all affiliate and partnership activities across Europe, Canada, and LATAM.

Reporting to the Head of Affiliates, you will manage a team of 7 employees and be responsible for their performance, training, and development.

What you will do 

Strategy and Planning

  • Build the 3-year strategy & framework for all Affiliate & Partnerships activity in Europe, Canada and LATAM.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles to align with financial targets set quarterly delivering YoY growth in acquisition.
  • Drive change, adopting new channels and capabilities/platforms as they arise. Clearly describing commercial benefits of changes as they are delivered.
  • Ensure compliance with affiliate program guidelines, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, analyzing regional Affiliate performance, including impact on KPIs. E.g. ROI, pNGR and pGP (gross profit), FTDs, CPDs, Rev-Share, Conversions Rates etc.
  • Negotiate T1 agreements with top affiliates and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.

Marketing Effectiveness

  • Oversees all Affiliate & Partnerships activity. Accountable for the team`s performance, including achievement of key KPIs and commercial targets. Conduct weekly team meetings to follow up on tasks and make sure the team is on track with their KPIs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key Affiliates to ensure leading edge acquisition techniques are deployed, market opportunities are actualized, and technology changes are shared within the company on a regular basis.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client and publisher relationships.
  • Work closely with the Affiliate Operations Team Lead to ensure smooth transactions of affiliates’ data to the Affiliates’ management system (Entain Affiliate Platform).
  • Work to high quality standards, ensuring errors in execution (creative, audience, proposition) are always registered, and minimized.
  • Responsible for creative and proposition strategy used in the Affiliate & Partnerships (in conjunction with brand promotional teams) to optimise performance by channel.
  • Manage Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly reporting and review cycle, demonstrating how Acquisition has progressed in terms of both it’s financial targets and its innovation roadmap.
  • Cross functional team collaboration and stakeholder management e.g. works closely with key stakeholders (Brand, Compliance, Legal, BI etc.).
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Affiliates’ activity is sufficiently monitored, tracked and evaluated by the team using Affiliate tracking tools in Entain Affiliate Platform and internal analytical reports thus ensuring positive NGR and Gross Profit.
  • Reporting to P&L owners on aggregate PM performance across week / month
  • Work closely with the brand teams to ensure that ad copy and promotional messaging are aligned to the core brand principles.
  • Track, detect and monitor for fraud. 

Innovation

  • Collaborate with Mar-Tech/BI teams for product innovations and or development (e.g. platform capability).
  • Work closely with CRO team to optimize visit-deposit funnel performance and implement initiatives to improve overall experience and therefore ROI for all major brands.
  • Own the “test & learn roadmap”, ensure a successful learning process and a reporting structure.

People Management

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of a medium-sized team (up to 10 people).
  • Recruitment, performance management, training and development.
