Position: Bar Manager

Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking to manage a bar in a prestigious setting? Our client, an exclusive members only golf club, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bar Manager to oversee their clubhouse bar operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bar and Cellar Work: Ensure the bar and cellar are well-maintained, clean, and stocked.
  • Clubhouse Setup: Prepare the clubhouse for daily operations and special events.
  • Order Management: Take and manage drink and food orders, ensuring a seamless service experience.
  • Beverage Service: Serve hot and cold drinks with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
  • Food Service: Serve a variety of food items, maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
  • Stock Management: Conduct regular stock takes, manage inventory, and place orders to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Paperwork: Handle relevant administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations and club policies.
  • Staff Management: Oversee bar staff, creating rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to members and guests, enhancing their experience at our club.

Qualifications:

  • Personal License Holder or willing and able to apply
  • Proven experience in bar management or a similar hospitality role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of stock management and ordering processes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Hours:

The clubhouse operates from 7am all year round unless the golf course is closed. Working hours will vary between winter and summer, but you will be contracted to 40 hours per week.
