Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £25,000-£27,000pa


We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner with a minimum of Level 3 certification in early childhood education (or equivalent).

As a Nursery Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Safeguarding and supervising the children at all times, ensuring their well-being.
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, including participating in development progress review meetings and providing daily feedback.
  • Taking on key worker responsibilities, including observing and planning for children's needs, and creating exciting and stimulating activities based on their next steps.
  • Tracking children's progress using our unique Parent App.
  • Adhering to nursery policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in an early years setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A positive and proactive approach to teamwork and leadership.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • First Aid certification (desirable).
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo the necessary checks).
