Our client is a leader in their field, dedicated to quality and innovation in product development and manufacturing. As a Process Quality Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to quality engineering initiatives that enhance product lifecycle management.

About the Role:

As a Process Quality Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in quality engineering principles and practices to support product and process improvements. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, risk management, and process optimization. This contract is for six months with the possibility of extension.

Locations and Positions Available:

  • Leeds – 1 position available
  • Blackpool – 1 position available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with R&D and other teams to ensure effective design controls, risk management, and address design challenges.
  • Support new product introductions, including process verification and equipment validation (IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • Develop and validate new test methods and ensure products comply with regulatory standards, such as QSRs and ISO 13485.
  • Analyze product quality, investigate root causes, and ensure corrective actions are effective.
  • Design measurement systems, control plans, and execute process monitoring to maintain high quality standards.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to drive process improvements and assess measurement tools' effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks in process changes and apply strategic quality strategies for process and test method validation.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with 4-6 years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Familiarity with FDA and European regulatory environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of product/process Risk Management (FDA and ISO standards) and experience in implementing risk mitigation.
  • Proficiency in Statistics, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies, including Measurement System Analysis and SPC.
  • Skilled in statistical software and able to present data for decision-making.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting ability and sound judgment skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes, with expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Process Validation.
  • Knowledge of GMP/ISO regulations is advantageous.
