As an organisation we’re in a period of scaling-up, and now we’re looking for a highly-skilled and experienced Project Manager/ Scheduler to oversee and coordinate software development activities. 

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager/Scheduler to oversee and coordinate software development projects. Reporting into the Business Manager, the ideal candidate will possess exceptional scheduling abilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time while meeting quality standards. The role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and drive project success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project resource and scheduling for multiple products and projects

• Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as needed. Attend and/or run Daily Stand up meetings.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure timely project completion.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, ensuring clarity on project goals and expectations.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination, resourcing and scheduling of projects

• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement

• Occasional support/opportunity to define project scope, goals and deliverables

Requirements

  • Proven experience (4 years) in project management within the software development industry
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong expertise in project scheduling, including the use of scheduling tools and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively work with teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus!
