We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute in generating leads for our marketing company based in Cheadle Stockport. An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have good people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with some objections. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in potential customers and developing business. All training is given and also ongoing. This is a part time role for 2 or 3 days per week with weekly pay and a genuine excellent commission package. This role would ideally suit students or people looking to earn extra cash.

Responsibilities
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
  • Answer questions about products or the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and gain leads
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Have some knowledge about online advertising
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Willing to learn and improve.

Requirements

  • Experience in telesales desired but not essential
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
