Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting Check-in Agents with flexible shifts available at Bristol Airport.

Once your initial background checks and training are complete, you’ll be able to work flexibly by booking yourself shifts via our app.

Shifts available:
3AM – 9AM
4AM – 10AM
3PM - 9PM


PLEASE NOTE: To ensure your training doesn’t expire, you MUST be able to work at least 2 shifts per week. This role is best suited to candidates available to work circa 20 hours per week.

Key Duties:

  • Assist passengers with self-service check-in kiosks and bag drop systems.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with airline policies and security regulations.
  • Checking passports, visa documentation and flight details.
  • Direct customers to the right location/assist if needed.
  • Monitoring of baggage weights/applying extra cost if needed.
  • Reconciliation of passengers at Boarding Gates.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience is mandatory.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
  • Confident using technology / IT systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to pass a DBS check.

 

PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
