What’s it all about?

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Partnerships Manager, responsible for hitting new business revenue targets across Local Authorities and beyond. You’re an experienced education sales professional with a passion for, as well as a deep understanding of, selling to local authorities. We’re at an exciting inflection point with a changing funding environment as well as a richer product set - we want to build strategic relationships with local authorities to keep growing our impact in the space.

The Day to Day

Win new business: Develop, nurture and close both sales and marketing generated opportunities in local authorities and beyond. Identify cross and upsell opportunities to hit target account values. 

Hit new business targets: Hit targets through both direct outreach as well as tender based opportunities. 

Build and leverage your network: Continue to grow your network with key stakeholders across the space to enable MyTutor to build strategic and lasting relationships, and capitalise on new opportunities. 

Build and manage a tender pipeline: Keep your finger on the procurement pulse across local authorities, creating opportunities for MyTutor and building out a pipeline of tender and framework applications. Manage the pipeline to ensure we are able to deliver strong submissions and manage resources effectively.

Write and win local authority bids: Write high quality applications that demonstrate MyTutor can meet customers’ needs.

KPI tracking and reporting: Keep your finger on the pulse of metrics you own through daily, weekly and monthly tracking, keep key stakeholders updated on performance and take accountability for turning the dial up/down on focus areas depending on results.

Your passion for selling is evident in every interaction, making you a persuasive and engaging EdTech sales professional.

Driven to achieve results: You have a track record of hitting your own sales targets. You’re a proven operator, and talented sales person who does what it takes to hit target. You're a creative and tenacious problem solver when things aren’t going to plan.  

A proven tender winner: You know what it takes to write a great bid and have the win rate to prove it. 

Strong sector experience: You have a passion for working with LAs and solving their problems. 

Excellent communicator and relationship builder: You are able to quickly build credibility with senior stakeholders, and are able to build long term relationships with customers and internal teams fast.

Highly organised and proactive: You’re highly organised enabling you to manage competing priorities and demands. 

Analytical: You’re able to draw insights from historical data and trends and leverage data to drive positive revenue outcomes. 

Resilient: You’re comfortable in ambiguity, and working in a fast-changing environment.

Team management: Experience of leading and developing a high performing team.
