We are looking for a proactive and motivated HR Advisor to join our team of dedicated and passionate HR professionals at SPT Labtech. If you are enthusiastic and keen to play a key part in providing an exceptional customer journey to both hiring managers, candidates and existing employees through our recruitment, and employee lifecycle processes, we’d love to hear from you.

Do you have previous experience working within a fast paced, agile generalist HR role?

You will provide HR advice to coach managers and employees, as well as owning and contributing to a range of continuous improvement projects. You will also be helping us to hire efficiently and ensuring the onboarding experience for new employees reflects our values and culture. The position reports to the HR Manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Generalist HR support:

  • First point of contact and responding to HR enquiries, maintaining accurate employee data, preparing employment offer paperwork and contract amendment letters.
  • Providing advice, coaching and support to bring swift resolution to case management including note taking and HR processes.
  • Maintaining data integrity across org charts, supporting HR projects and benefits & employee lifecycle HR administration.

Recruitment coordination:

  • Providing ad hoc support for hiring activities working alongside our Talent Acquisition Partner.

Onboarding:

  • Providing support for an excellent onboarding experience.
  • Sending out new starter information, coordinating company inductions, adding new hires to HR systems, references and right to work checks.
  • Coordinating new hire announcements and setting up HR review meetings.

Training:

  • LMS owner and supporting managers with training guidance and budget awareness.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and have effective systems to keep on track and organised.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in an agile environment working to sometimes tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with change and a willingness to learn and evolve your skills.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience using an HRIS and hiring software.
  • Familiarity with hiring practices
  • Experience providing generalist HR support.
  • An understanding of UK employment law, good people practices and GDPR.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • CIPD Level 3 would be desirable
