Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals of all bands and specialties for long and short-term locum roles throughout the UK. We are currently working with qualified Speech & Language Therapists to help them find new and exciting opportunities with the Trusts here in Northern Ireland.

As such, we are now recruiting on behalf of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust for Band 6 Speech & Language Therapists for the Surestart teams! Mourne Surestart requires part time cover (3 days per week) from September 2024 until August 2025! Shifts as follows; Wednesday & Friday (Mourne Area) & Friday (Newry area) with Trust mileage also included. Salary starts from £20.30 - £25 per hour.

Requirements

- Degree / Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy OR a related Degree with postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy

- Registered member of HCPC and RCSLT

- At least 2 years post-qualification experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, to include a minimum of 1 years' experience working with 0-4 year old children within the last 5 years.

- Postgraduate training and /or experience in relevant courses e.g. Makaton, Derbyshire Language Scheme, Hanen, Elklan.

- Full UK Drivers License and Access to a car

- Right to Work in the UK
