As such, we are now recruiting a team of Behavioural Assistants working with severe learning disability and autism, to manage behavioural challenge and in implementing Behaviour Support Plans. This is a Locum role based in an acute hospital setting and will require hands on personal care and day/night duty (Full time hrs - 37.5 hrs per week). The duration of the post will be 2-6 months (temporary) and full shift cover is required (8am-8pm/8pm/8am).

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to be in possession of a satisfactory enhanced Access NI disclosure and Fit to Work certificate, which Direct Medics will supply for you free of charge. Salary starting from £16.28 to £29.06 per hour.

Requirements

Essential:

· Degree in Psychology or equivalent

· Have at least 1000 hours paid experience in supporting individuals with learning difficulties & challenging behaviour.

· Full Current Driving License

· Right to Work in the UK

Desirable Criteria:

· PBS Training

· Safety Intervention Training (However this can be supplied through Direct Medics own Trainers if required)
