LSH Auto is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Service Operations Manager to join our team at our dealership in Solihull. As the Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service department and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with the service team to manage daily operations, monitor service quality, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the service department, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize service operations and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Monitor service performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff members to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve company goals

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the automotive service sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of service operations, customer service, and quality control
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyse and interpret service performance data
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in using service management software and other related systems
  • A valid driver's licence
