The role? 

A new role has arisen for an Operations Lead to support our Cranes & Lifting workshop here at EnerMech in Aberdeen. This is a permanent role reporting to the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the Operations in the workshop including the organisation and planning of all jobs/work scopes.

The role will involve;

  • The reviewing of job cards and assigning to correct job owner within the workshop office
  • Regularly liaising with the Technical Coordinator and workshop supervisors through all stages of job to ensure all jobs are completed on time correctly
  • Providing the Operations Manager with weekly updates regarding job progress
  • Responsible for producing work packs to allow all work within the workshops to be carried out to a high standard and safely 
  • Contacting internal departments and external suppliers to receive quotes for purchases
  • Reviewing inspection reports and gather all costs then construct a proposal to be issued to customer internal / external
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all paperwork correctly and efficiently in job folders on company drives and the internal database

You Are?

To be successful for this position you will have a good knowledge of mechanical equipment and be familiar with the oil and gas industry. You will perhaps have come from a workshop hands on background and be looking for a step up into more of an office based position with some operational leadership/supervisor responsibility.

You will ideally have some experience with databases and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

You will be competent in time management and organising personnel.
