Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and promoting our club to potential customers. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met.

The successful candidate will be tasked with proactively selling functions, events and conferences at our iconic New Road venue and account managing key customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate fresh leads and actively seek potential new clients

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients

• Achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives

• Provide excellent customer service and promptly address client enquiries

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction

• Accurately input all bookings and client details onto our systems

• Manage our busy bookings diary and venue CRM system

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity

Requirements

Person Specification:

• A background in sales, preferably within the hospitality and leisure sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Effective skills in negotiation and persuasion

• A motivated mindset dedicated to reaching goals

• Ability to perform well under pressure and complete tasks promptly

• Excellent attention to detail

• Proficiency in utilising CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite

You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

• This is a full time role working 35 hours per week over 5 days. During the busy cricket season you will be expected to work some evenings and weekends.
