CRISIS MANAGEMENT, TESTING, AND EXERCISING MANAGER

WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID)- 12 MONTH FTC

There is never a good time for an emergency or even potential emergency to arise.  Ensuring the correct protocols and procedures are in place for any and every emergency scenario is paramount to success.

THE ROLE

This newly created role sits within the Operational Quality team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and crisis scenario exercises to prepare the business for potential emergency situations. 

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based out of our office in Wellingborough. Flexible working practices will enable you to work from home up to 2/3 days per week.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Crisis scenario exercising with the senior executive team - this will initially be the focus of the role and thereafter will account for 50% of the role.
• Scheduling, planning, coordinating, and conducting exercises across all areas of the business.
• Designing and developing scenario exercises, produce assessment reports, and develop improvement plans.
• Working with the Learning and Development team to develop training and education for colleagues at all levels.
• Developing and reinforcing the banks’ existing scenario exercise library creating plausible but complex new scenarios as processes mature.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• First hand experience exercising continuity and crisis scenarios.
• Experience working within Operational Resilience, Crisis Management and/or Business Continuity in the UK Financial Services sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to enable you to build collaborative relationships across both internal and external stakeholders.
• A sound knowledge of the UK regulatory policy statements on Operational Resilience and Third-Party risk Management.
