At Highland Spring we are seeking an experienced Group Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead our Engineering teams at the Fells & Ochils facilities. You will manage and coordinate all Engineering, Maintenance, and overhaul processes, driving operational excellence, safe practices, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Job Scope:

This role covers Ochils & Fells Engineering Beacons.

Main Duties:

  • Achieve Engineering target levels on Key Performance Indicators.
  • Implement best practice Engineering/Operational Excellence programs.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and specifications.
  • Streamline end-to-end business processes.
  • Transition from reactive to predictive maintenance models.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and overhaul systems.
  • Create a 5-year plan for equipment life extension and cost optimization.
  • Develop a Capex plan to meet production needs.
  • Manage supplier performance and build strong partnerships.
  • Foster a culture of people development within the Engineering Department.
  • Ensure compliance with Hygiene, Health, and Safety regulations.
  • Full P&L responsibility and target accountability.

 

Requirements

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Expertise in Engineering, maintenance, and overhaul principles (preferably in bottling).
  • Proven leadership ability .
  • Continuous improvement knowledge and implementation.
  • Strategic project management skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • P&L, budget, and CAPEX management experience.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing, hygiene, quality systems, and health and safety.
