• Karmoon is a Shopify agency, looking to rapidly expand in the e-commerce market. The company is fast-paced and constantly adapting and improving. With over a decade of experience working for the world's best Shopify stores, you'll be joining a team that knows the market inside and out. We are looking for a Mid- Senior Front-end developer to join the team.

About the role

• You should be able to translate designs into functional and appealing interactive sites. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design. The most important skills required for this position are passion and genuine care about the end product! Karmoon has built its business around helping clients take their Shopify stores to the next level. Training will be provided to help improve your HTML, SCSS, Javascript, etc. However, passion can't be taught. Caring about building beautiful websites and helping our clients improve is primarily the focus. As a team we are now exploring the capabilities of Headless commerce and have now completed a number of headless projects, experience in Next JS would be a bonus.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Use best practices and standards when developing websites to ensure consistent quality across different devices and browsers
• Liaise with external parties such as web hosting providers to ensure the smooth running of the site
• Diagnose and fix bugs, troubleshoot any site issues that arise, and work on updating and improving existing websites
• Develop and design new website layouts, features, and functionality
• Write high-quality code and documentation, and ensure that all code is reviewed before release
• Collaborate with stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web systems
