I am recruiting for a Welsh Speaking English Teacher to join a fantastic school with over 900 students on roll. The school itself has been commended for its facilities for both staff and students, holding an “outstanding” award overall. The school has a welcoming environment where teaching staff at the school aim to ensure that all learners are supported to allow them to reach their full potential.

The role is to start in September 2024 and is confirmed until the end of the following academic year with the potential for this to be extended.

You will be responsible for teaching timetabled English classes to KS3 and KS4, as well as supporting with general teaching cover across each of the year groups.

Requirements

-    Planning and preparation of lessons. 

-    Attending staff meetings. 

-    Asses pupil work, track progress and make successful interventions where needed.

You will need to be a Qualified Teacher, be registered with the EWC and hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to undergo a check. You will have a passion for teaching and have strong classroom management skills as well as being punctual and organised.

Alongside the above, you will be responsible for providing, monitoring, and evaluating the use of resources related to KS3 and KS4 classwork.

This role will pay a minimum of £170-180 per day, with the potential for this to be increased depending on experience.
