KYN is a brand-new care home company focused on offering an elevated approach to care: Individualised journeys built around the needs and interests of our residents in beautiful surroundings with life-enriching practices.

KYN HURLINGHAM is our second home due to open in the first part of 2024. It’s a 32-bedroom home offering each resident an elegant and comfortable bedroom, communal areas for dining and reclining. We have a further two care homes in development in London.

About the opportunity

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:

Sales Support and Follow-up:

  • Assist in the implementation of the sales plan to ensure occupancy rates and revenues are met.
  • Follow up on sales enquiries within agreed KPIs, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective residents, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Track enquiries and record outcomes accurately in KYN’s CRM database.
  • Ensure all leads are followed up promptly, and decisions are logged efficiently.
  • Support the Client Engagement Manager in securing a successful conversion rate.

Administrative Duties:

  • Input accurate records into KYN’s CRM database.
  • Maintain and update contact lists, including the hospital discharge team.
  • Monitor competitor activity and relevant data, providing reports to the Client Engagement Manager.

Community Engagement:

  • Work closely with the Home Manager to engage with the local community.
  • Proactively promote KYN by attending customer meetings, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with KYN’s marketing team, understanding marketing plans, and driving assigned activities.

Customer Journey Excellence:

  • Ensure that every interaction throughout the customer journey is exceptional.
  • Accommodate and be flexible to the requests of prospective residents.

Compliance and Training:

  • Attend all statutory and additional training sessions, ensuring practices reflect the training outcomes.
  • Adhere to all KYN’s policies and procedures.
  • Respect residents’ privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Team Collaboration:

  • Communicate and build relationships with all KYN colleagues.
  • Assist in arranging initial visits for prospective residents to our homes.

Resident Pre-Arrival:

  • Complete all resident pre arrival paperwork (not medical)
  • Ensure that all medical pre-arrival paperwork is in place
  • Co-ordinate the completion of ‘My Life Story’ with the residents and their family
  • Ensure the team are fully briefed on the resident’s arrival, highlighting all requests and personalised services and requirements.
  • Design and maintain a resident’s and their family’s profile (DPO/GDPR Compliant)
  • Personalise and co-ordinate the arrival process, including welcome amenities
  • Pre-check the bedroom for arrival
  • Introduce the team to the new resident and their family in line with the checklist

Resident Welcome

  • Co-ordinating introductions to the home team leaders
  • Co-ordinating introduction to the household team
  • Organise welcome events for new residents
  • Compete a check in after the first 24 hours of the residents stay with us
  • Complete a check in after 7 days
  • Get to know the family and their patterns, sharing the information across the teams
  • Continue to build residents ‘Life Story’
  • Ensure Welcome SOP is completes

About you

  • You will have experience in a similar role within a care home or 4–5-star hospitality venue
  • You will have a minimum GCSE grade B in maths and GCSE grade C in English of which you will need to demonstrate these skills
  • You will be a professional, with a hands-on approach who has proven track record of delivering and maintaining standards at the highest level
  • You will be observant with the ability to anticipate residents’ needs and understanding how to adapt your service style and engage with each individual resident and their families
  • You will be patient with the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
  • You will be organised with strong communication and influencing skills, an approachable manner, with an eye for detail and the ability to drive standards that not only meet but exceed expectations and elevate the lives of our residents
  • You will have the ability to work under pressure, flexibly and consistently
  • You will be a compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individual
