About the Role

We are currently seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to cover maternity leave in our Digital Renewals team. Reporting to the Head of Energy Renewals, you’ll be at the heart of Digital Renewal operations responsible for the bulk renewal of 7k monthly customers.

As the Commercial Operations Manager for Digital Renewals, you will coordinate the monthly renewal cycle and be an integral part of the Renewals business squad. Your mission is to identify areas for process and proposition improvement. You will lead the operational execution of Digital Renewals, produce project updates, presentations, and tracking reports for the team and various stakeholders. Effective communication with multiple teams across the business is essential, as this role operates within a squad framework.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for Digital Renewals
  • Identify and deliver on opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes
  • Communicating with and coordinating cross-functional teams – across sales, commercial, compliance, marketing, product & tech
  • Running projects to ‘next phase’ our Digital Renewals proposition and ensure it remains market leading
  • Performance analysis - reporting on key metrics e.g. conversion & dropout, and doing deep-dives into renewal performance
  • Measuring success vs. KPIs and holding people accountable for quality and task completion to ensure each monthly renewal strike happens both on time and to budget
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements
  • Line manager for Commercial Support Executive to assist on operational aspects of Digital Renewals

Requirements

  • Experience in a product ownership, project management, operations or commercial role
  • Proven track record of achieving renewal targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience of working cross-functionally
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with large data sets
