The Role:

StudioXAG is looking for a Traffic Manager to help provide our clients with better service, improve the experience of our team and run more efficient projects.

As StudioXAG continues to grow, we need an individual to help oversee and coordinate our internal teams to ensure we have the right individuals on the right projects to deliver our best work, efficiently and profitably, while considering our teams and clients' experience. Reporting into our Head of Delivery you’ll be joining a vibrant, exciting, growing and creative environment. 

This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and learn the inner workings of growing creative business, whilst being able to shape our approach to how things are done. You will work with teams across the business and will be instrumental in shaping and evolving how we deliver our projects and manage our internal capacity.

Requirements

Ideal Experience: 
  • You will have 4 years plus working in an agency environment
  • You don’t have to have worked in exactly our industry before, but a fast-paced agency environment with multiple projects and internal teams is a must. A creative industry is a plus
  • Experience in scheduling (trafficking, capacity planning, resource planning…it is called many different things) for internal teams is the core part of the role 
  • A good understanding of project budgeting and reconciliation is important
  • The ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and facilitate a process to reach a fair conclusion (even one when not everyone is happy) won’t faze you
  • You will have experience in defining and embedding new tools, processes and procedures, specifically capacity management and project budgeting

Skills & Responsibilities:
  • Looking after our team resourcing and allocation, across all internal teams
  • Monitoring project budgets, in relation to time 
  • Responsible for helping to keep our projects on budget and teams being used in the most efficient way possible
  • Establish and manage relevant processes and tools to help manage capacity and budgets. 
  • As you will be helping to cast team members onto projects, you will need to understand not only the skills of all of the team members but also their development goals 
  • Inputting at the proposal stage, ensuring we have the right team members available.
  • Working with our Heads of Departments to identify and manage our freelance network, allowing us to flex our capacity as required
  • In time, help us establish and embed relevant policies and procedures

Location:

We currently work a hybrid model; 3 days a week from our East London studio in E10 and 2 flexible days. Our normal working hours are 9am - 6pm but flexible working hours and days are available.
