Caffyn Engineering Ltd is a well-established mechanical and industrial engineering company, specializing in precision engineering solutions. We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists Turners / Millers to join our team. As a CNC Machinist Turner / Miller, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality precision components, utilizing our state-of-the-art CNC machines.

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements
• Select appropriate cutting tools and attachments based on job requirements
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, following strict quality control standards
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure adherence to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, such as cleaning and lubricating
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist Turner / Miller
• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, specifically turning and milling
• Strong knowledge of machine shop math and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens control systems is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of precision measuring instruments and the ability to use them effectively
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
