We are seeking a dynamic insurance professional to be part of our team of Underwriting specialists. However, we are also open to speaking to candidates who are less experienced within the underwriting space and who are keen to learn. The successful candidate will be key to us in delivering great outcomes for our customers and insurers, through the provision of high-quality, efficient insurer services.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the Underwriting team in maintaining and developing successful and trusting relationships with our panel of insurers
  • Resolve underwriting queries from our insurers and customers
  • Lead the creation of clear and concise requirements for our development teams to develop/build new insurance products
  • Lead on the provision of MI and insurer reports, identifying focus areas where appropriate
  • Lead on the delivery of underwriting governance and regulatory activity
  • Active involvement in insurer meetings, managing and delivering upon actions, where appropriate

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Demonstrable attention to detail
  • Deliver outputs independently and in a timely fashion
  • Create trusting relationships with peers and partners
  • Communicate clearly and concisely
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Experience of working in Personal Lines Insurance
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/Google Workspace software, including Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs
  • Ability to use MI/Analysis tools preferred (e.g. Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables)
