Destiny Care Homes is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Manager to join our dedicated team. As a registered manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for our young adults aged 16 to 21. As the Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the young adults under your care. You will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of dedicated support workers and ensuring the smooth running of our homes. Your leadership skills, understanding of regulatory requirements, and commitment to person-centered care will be instrumental in creating a supportive and empowering environment for our residents.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for each resident, in collaboration with the individuals and their families.
  • Monitor and review care plans regularly to ensure they meet the changing needs of the residents.
  • Foster a culture of positive communication and teamwork among staff members.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, such as local authorities and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Registered Manager designation with a recognized healthcare regulatory body.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar care setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in social care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and holidays.

Benefits

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
