About the Team:

The finance team plays a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth. We are dedicated to maintaining robust financial health, optimising profitability, and delivering exceptional value to our stakeholders. Our mission is to empower the company with accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Accounts Payable / Receivable Team Leader who has experience from a similar fast paced environment, and is looking for an environment where they can lead a junior team to develop their skills.

Lead and manage the AP/AR team, providing guidance, training, and support to team members

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Set and monitor team goals, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.

Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Act as the primary point of contact for escalations related to AP/AR matters.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.

Ensure accurate month-end closing activities for AP/AR, including reconciliations.

Manage relationships with vendors, resolving any disputes or discrepancies.

Monitor and control the AP and AR aging reports, ensuring timely payments/collections and managing cash flow.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in a similar position leading an AP/AR team is essential.

Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and senior management.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

High levels of data accuracy and attention to detail.

Have a positive, “can do” attitude and a desire to learn new tasks.
