HR Advisor

We are recruiting for a HR Advisor, working 40h/w on a permanent basis.

Our dedicated head office team work on a hybrid basis between home and our head office building Ruscombe. Charity Link works with some of country’s the most prestigious charities.

YOUR ROLE:

To provide support and advice on all human resources matters and work proactively with managers and staff in all areas of the Company

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To be a first point of contact for HR queries coming into the department for head office, and supportive with our field queries
  • Manage the administration of the field complaints process, liaising, and collaboratively working with our Client Services Department
  • Act as a trusted lead on all employee relations issues in line with Company policies, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis of HR data, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on all HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with Employment Law and legislation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation. In addition to this, create formal proposals for new suggestions/improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of HR records, including employment contracts, offer letters and other documentation.
  • Conduct quarterly welfare and wellbeing checks with Head office Senior Management.
  • Manage Head office employee lifecycle, from onboarding, probationary period, through to leaver process.
  • Assist and support the process of reviewing our current benefit packages to ensure we are competitive within current industry standards.
  • Maintaining all personnel records in accordance with The General Data Protection Act.
  • Organise, monitor, and update absence records for Head office employees.
  • Coordinate and manage Head office short-term absence meetings and implement any necessary adjustments to support the employee.
  • Coordinate and manage all long-term absence, required meetings and implement any necessary adjustments.
  • Organise, manage, and administer all long service awards.
  • Manage and administrate HR system accounts such as Digital Right to Work system.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders and managers within the business, ensuring that they receive full support when providing advice and guidance with people matters.
  • Assisting the HR Manager with project work and helping to develop various HR processes.
  • Manage and administrate the Head office HR Induction and support with benefit refresher sessions for successful completion of probation period.
  • Contribute and support social media platforms to assist with employee engagement and morale.
  • Work collaboratively with Communications Manager and HR team to support awareness days.
  • Contribute and drive Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR & Academy Assistant.

Requirements

 

  • Minimum CIPD L3 or equivalent or qualified through a minimum of 3 years HR experience
  • Previous exposure to an HR environment or HR duties
  • Strong administrative background and experience of working within a busy office environment
  • Previous experience in handling ER cases
  • Previous in Grievance/DH/Investigation
  • Previous experience in Employee Relations
