Delivery Driver

T W White & Sons is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy wholesale parts team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of wholesale parts to our trade customers, who are based within a 75 mile radius of our parts distribution warehouse in Leatherhead, Surrey.

In addition to driving and delivering parts, you will also be responsible for loading parts onto your delivery van, securing them properly and assisting in the warehouse.

The successful candidate will have a clean, valid driver's license. Previous experience in a delivery driver or similar role is advantageous, but not essential.

We are a family-run multi-franchise dealership with a strong focus on customer service and employee satisfaction. Our wholesale parts department is the largest supplier of Hyundai, Kia, Suzuki and Mazda parts in the UK. We offer a supportive and friendly working environment.

Responsibilities

• Load parts onto the delivery van and secure them properly
• Deliver parts to various trade customers, based around London and the South East
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately
• Be involved as part of the wider parts team, helping to organise the warehouse

Typical Day

A typical day as a Delivery Driver would look similar to:

• 7am - 10am: Loading the van and assisting in the warehouse
• 10am - 3.30pm: Delivering parts
• 3.30pm - 4.30pm: Assisting in the warehouse with returns and organisation of parts delivered into our stock

Requirements

• A clean valid driving license
• Good communication skills
• Good team player, happy to assist collegues, yet able to work hard using own initiative

Hours are 7am to 5pm (Mondays) and 7am - 4.30pm (Tuesday - Friday). No Saturdays

1 hour unpaid break during the day. Your weekly working hours therefore equate to 43 hours.
