About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for an international leading supplier and manufacturer of marine safety products.

Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Military and Senior Customer Support to join their team based in Redcar.

As the Military and Senior Customer Support, you will be responsible for providing senior level support to the Customer Operations Manager supporting with adhoc tasks and acting as a senior escalation point as and when required.  

A key focus of this role will be providing high level of service to internal customers and will see you working cross functionally with other areas of the business ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction are always met.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have experience in military support, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company.

Requirements

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in military support or a related industry would be beneficial to this role.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused and deadline driven enviroment.
  • A logical and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbally.
  • Ability to work in fast paced enviroment whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Dynamics or an alternative CRM system.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups & formulas)
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Previous experience of deputising for a senior manager would be highly desirable.
  • Live within a commutable distance to the offices in Redcar.
