Vehicle Technician

T W White & Sons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, conducting vehicle inspections, performing repairs and replacements, and maintaining accurate records of all work carried out. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying and recommending additional services that may be required.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a relevant qualification such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You should have excellent technical skills, be detail-oriented, and have a thorough understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required
  • Perform repairs and replacements as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
  • Recommend additional services to customers as required

Requirements

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician who has:

  • Proven experience in automotive repair
  • A relevant qualification such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • A valid driving license
